Born in Berlin, Germany on 3 September 1988, Jérôme Boateng has become one of the most popular stars in European sports today, generating excitement wherever he goes. Part of the German national squad since 2010, Jérôme was a key defender in the team that won the World Cup in 2014.
Boateng is an Afro-German with a German mother and a Ghanaian father. Topping out at 6’4”, Jérôme is a larger-than-life character both on and off the field. His strength and composure have earned him a reputation as a tough-tackling, versatile defender with an enviable career in world-class soccer.
